Last month I worked with Wagstaff Worldwide photographing the opening of two new True Food Kitchen restaurants in Palo Alto and Walnut Creek. The healthy food chain is owned by Fox Restaurant Concepts in partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil and has healthy, interesting food that I loved. I’m hoping they’ll come to San Francisco soon.
About a month ago I worked on a shoot for Green Beans Coffee, a company you may not know unless you happen to be stationed on a far away base in a dangerous land. Then you know them well as a cafe to relax at and get a taste of home and as a company that dedicates part of its profits to giving back to those who serve.
Now they are bringing their high quality coffee and food to the rest of us! Here are a few favorites from a fun shoot for the Green Girl Bakeshop website. Lisa Stoy, the owner, founder, and maker creates some incredibly delicious gluten-free, dairy free ice cream sandwiches and ice creams. There’s nothing artificial in her products. Using ingredients like coconut milk and oil, maple syrup, cashews and brown rice flour, everything’s simple and organic. Visit her at local East Bay farmers markets: Montclair Village Oakland or Kensington Market on Sundays, and Berkeley Market (Adeline Street) on Tuesdays.
Updating photos of Sandy Newman’s 100 acre farm and vineyard in Santa Barbara… What a fun job! Check out more photos and her new website
