A couple of weeks ago I spent a day working with Irene Audet, owner of NinaLereau.com photographing her beautiful aprons. I never knew there was such a thing as luxury aprons but this is it: hand-crafted, triple layered, organic, and made in the USA. I worked for the San Francisco Chronicle for the first time earlier this month photographing Chef Stephen Barber of Farmstead in St Helena. Barber, who has loved barbecue since he was a boy, shares his tips an a recipe for a spicy rib rub here. YUM!
