Wednesday September 9th the smoke from all the fires darkened the sky and blocked the sun in San Francisco. A sobering day unlike any I’ve ever experienced.

Last August I got sent to a ranch! Aspen Meadows Pack Station at Pinecrest has about 100 horses and they will take you out horseback riding, fishing, or to your backpack camp in Emigrant Wilderness. The ranch is family run and most of the cowboys and cowgirls have worked there for years. They’re the nicest people you’d hope to meet and visiting them is like stepping back in time. They eat together, bunk together and there’s no internet! So much fun and such a beautiful place; definitely book an adventure with them this summer.
This year we did a day of shooting in a beautiful Berkeley house. The owner loved the products as much as I love shooting them. BeHome.com
Phillip Glashoff has spent his life making art from salvaged metal on his ranch in Suisun Valley. In May I went out and visited him and here are some favorites.
My photo for School Night Bar just came out in the 01/2019 edition of San Francisco Magazine. It’s a weeknight bar with Traci Des Jardins’s fabulous food in Dogpatch. And a good excuse to play hooky. Check out the link here.
