Here is a recent video I made about Alemany Farm, San Francisco’ s largest urban farm, a hidden gem tucked into the east side of Bernal Heights just west of Interstate 280. You might drive by it every day and never know that it’s there. It’s a 3.5 acre farm run almost entirely by volunteers and they give away all the food they grow.
It’s a great place to come learn how to grow food; you get to work with the nicest people who send you home with a bag of delicious, organic vegetables. Check out the video I made and then go get your hands dirty!
Two favorites from a recent shoot for Sonoma Brinery…
Here’s my story and photos of savory breakfasts for Delicious Living Magazine
This burger shot for Sierra Magazine is 100% meat free, and when you cut into it, it’s pink! Check it out here.
A fun shoot with Little Spoon Organic Baby Food. Check out their new website and get your baby food delivered to your door.
A few favorite photos from a recent feature for Marin Magazine… A story with recipes from local chefs. Check it out here.
I’m excited to have the cover and feature story on local chefs favorite party recipes in November Marin Magazine.
A couple of weeks ago I spent a day working with Irene Audet, owner of NinaLereau.com photographing her beautiful aprons. I never knew there was such a thing as luxury aprons but this is it: hand-crafted, triple layered, organic, and made in the USA. Perfect for the serious chef (home or restaurant) and just in time for Christmas. NinaLereau.com
Last month I worked with Wagstaff Worldwide photographing the opening of two new True Food Kitchen restaurants in Palo Alto and Walnut Creek. The healthy food chain is owned by Fox Restaurant Concepts in partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil and has healthy, interesting food that I loved. I’m hoping they’ll come to San Francisco soon.
Senor Sisig tacos are a phenomenon in the bay area. I shot their spicy pork belly taco recipe for a Got Milk? editorial campaign earlier this year. (full disclosure: I added their logo to my photo above)
